2. ESO/GRAVITY: Milky Way’s fastest star S301 reaches ~25,000 km/s and can sense black-hole spin (astrophysics)

3. Basel team: wake-activated brainstem neurons regulate sleep drive; inhibiting them cuts sleep by ~70% (neuroscience)

4. Merck and Moderna: personalized mRNA melanoma vaccine Phase 3 meets RFS and DMFS endpoints (cancer immunotherapy)

5. Tohoku University: blood-camouflaged liquid-metal nanoplatform clears drug-resistant TNBC in mice (nano-immunotherapy)

Eijiro Miyako’s team reports in Advanced Science the multifunctional platform B-LM-DMX-αCD25: gallium-based liquid-metal nanoparticles (photothermal conversion efficiency >54%) coated with whole-blood components accumulate in tumors about fivefold more efficiently than conventional particles. 6. CanSino’s adolescent/adult five-component Td5cp NDA accepted; already on priority review (vaccine regulation)

10. Orbformer: a transferable deep QMC wavefunction foundation model reaches chemical accuracy on bond breaking (computational chemistry)
